Bot lobbies are certainly useful, but as you can see, the practice has definite benefits and downsides. We leave the choice up to you, but we think that judicious use of bot lobbies can significantly improve your time in Warzone 2.

- Rank up your account and unlock stuff more easily. Playing against people when you’re trying to unlock the next cosmetic, or what-have-you, can be very frustrating.
- Climb the leaderboard more quickly, if you care about that kind of thing.
Cons
- Climb the leaderboard more quickly. This is actually a problem, as this can get you placed in games with people who are far above you in terms of skill. This leads to fantastic games… for them. Not so much for you or any teammates you have.
- People who abuse this tactic are not highly regarded by other players, and the matchmaking system may force them into lobbies with others who have done the same.
- Practicing too much against bots can result in bad habits that will cause you to lose against human players.
How Can You Get Bot Lobbies in Warzone 2?
On PC

There isn’t a proper “practice mode” as such. At least, there isn’t one that you’ll find clearly labeled in the menu. Also, there’s no way to practice the battle royale mode. It seems that replayable practice missions used to exist, but they seem to be unavailable now.
What there is, is a firing range. To access it, just go to the Weapons menu at the top of the screen. From there, you should see a button near the bottom that says “Firing Range.” This will take you to a small firing range where you can test every weapon in your currently equipped loadout.
If you’re brand new to the game, you may notice that you’re unable to edit your loadout, or create more than one. Don’t worry, that comes at level 4, and the Firing Range will work even if you haven’t unlocked loadouts yet.
